Designed for The Relatives, a nonprofit that serves homeless and at risk youth in Charlotte, NC, The work serves as a sculptural donor wall. It mimics the mid-century modern design of the new On-Ramp facility it was designed for, while referencing the stained glass of the windows of a church. The Relatives was founded in the basement of the Dilworth United Methodist Church in 1974. The shape of the piece grows as it travels along its winding journey, referring to the personal growth of the youth that The Relatives helps every year.
